It's hard to believe possible, but this is a dumbed-down version of the Kindergarten Cop (1990) theme.  The adjectives "awful" and "terrible" pop into my head, but I'm not sure which is most appropriate ... maybe both.  It's a confluence of bad acting with a silly plot.

The protagonist, Lt. Shane Wolfe, a Navy Seal, is assigned to protect five children whose father has been killed by the bad guys.  Not the worst of the logistical problems with the storyline is the fact that neither his wife nor any of the children grieve over the death of their father, although, one daughter does shed a token tear later in the film.

Wolfe is left to "babysit" while the kid's mom is taken by military escort to retrieve a secret algorithm that could destroy the world, or at least Milpitas.  It's easy to anticipate the plot gimmicks when a single career military guy is in left in charge of rebellious kids, so I don't need to waste space with it.  However Disney Studios should be censured for dramatizing practical jokes that would seriously injure unsuspecting victims.  I also don't think it helps society to have a high school PE instructor and wrestling coach depicted as a buffoon or a school principal dress in low cut blouses.  Overall, the film has no redeeming value and could be considered detrimental.

Vin Diesel plays Wolfe.  He could be described as a Steven Seagal with no hair.  He was nominated in both 2003 and 2004 for the Razzie Award.  This recognition by the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation is for the worst acting achievement of the film year.  He may get him another nomination.
