Bored one night, I watched the satellite preview, and then, selected the movie anyway, PPV. Jennifer Lopez seems to be developing into an actress, but she's not there yet. Of course the script didn't help much. The plot line was a straight-line underdog, abused wife, with no other recourse, trains herself into a fighter - confronts nasty husband and wins. Okay idea, but she's little, he's huge (Mitch played by Billy Campbell) and I just couldn't believe the hand-to-hand stuff even with tricks.

Mitch seemed to nice early, too nasty later - except that I met a women in a writing class who's ex was a policeman and an abuser and what she wrote about her real life, made Mitch horribly believable.

Now that you've read this, don't bother with the film.
