David Kirk stimulates the imagination of today’s starry-eyed youth in his latest book – Nova the Robot, Super Galactic Pop Up.
Nova and his family live in Roton.  Nova’s dad Taspett is highly admired because he is a space pilot.  Taspett is in search of Zyte. Zyte is the powerful crystal that could fuel Roton forever.  Curious and mischievous Nova launches a deserted Glax Cruiser while on a school field trip. Nova finds himself lost, alone and unable to fly the crashed cruiser.  Hopeful that his dad will find him Nova builds wooden animals similar to those he built at home. One animal in particular was an elephant ark, mighty and capable of bellowing HELP!
Nova’s adventure brings about a touching and happy ending that will keep readers looking for Nova’s next adventure. The futuristic graphics are bright and friendly.  The pop-ups are fun for all young readers.  This book will help make the transition to reading easy.  Nova the Robot, Super Galactic Pop Up is a great gift any child would love to receive.
