Lemon Meringue Pie Murder is a book filled with mystery and tasty recipes. What delightfully suspenseful fun idea. With this book you need to take the time to bake at least one of the cookie recipes before moving on to discover whom the culprit is. A super book to read on a rainy day with a plate full of cookies, I could feel the fun that Joanne had conjuring up the story.  The story takes place in a small town we would all love to live in.  A small cookie shop where the town’s people love to come to talk and eat at a much better place than Denny’s. A town where the 4th of July parade includes all the merchants in the town.  It’s a small town where murder becomes something that everyone gets involved in solving.  It’s a very satisfying story; I found it hard to put down.
