I feel so lucky to have met Penny Warner at a writer's conference because it introduced me to not just an excellent speaker and instructor, but all of her excellent writing. Many of you may know her for her Connor Westphal Mystery series, and I'm sure you love them as much as I do.

This book is one from her children's mysteries and it also takes place in the Gold Country of California. The four children in this story take off on a treasure hunt into some local caves and face robbers!

I love the way Penny pulls you in to a story and this is one that any one of your Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts will enjoy.
