| Hazel Street Submission Guidelines
For the most part, Hazel Street seeks to inform writers about the process and craft of writing. But a lot of what we publish is humorous. We want your best work at this moment in your writing path.
Interviews
Authors, agents and publishers. Friendly chats with those that are successful.
Who is successful? Anyone who has managed to publish understands the process and can speak to it.
Email the editor for assignments.
We do take reprints as long as you own the rights.
500 to 2500 Words (Interviews do not have to follow a question/answer format.)
Book Reviews

Movie/DVD Reviews
250-500 Words - Pays in gift card to Netflix monthly. 3 movies per month.

New Section! Live Characters
500-2500 Words
Interviews with professionals - characters that you might put in a book like a fireman, beat cop, gun smith, coach, yoga instructor, dancer, trash collector- you think one up. Describe a typical week for the pro and list as many details as possible so our readers can have a real feel for the character. This will help our writers to craft stories more believably. Best if the interviewee allows a contact for additional queries from our readership.
Columns - 250-2500 Words

This is where you might send us a link to your book or website or advertise your brother's trailer for sale or talk about your writing services. Thank you,
