Pirates

I love this book, but I love pirates. I love children's books that have envelopes in them with secret messages and this book is loaded with them. It even has little books inside this book. There's a book of pirate slang! And those of yeh that don't believe it can Dance the hempen jig!

And even a pirates treasure map with all the real locations of sunken ships! OOOH! This makes me all excited like I'm actually going to go there and find treasure.

I'm just a kid.

And there's literally everything you'd want to know about pirates in this book, or at least enough to wet your appitite for more pirate info.

There's pirate ship info including flags! Actual looking documents from the Captain. Notices - I'm not sure why they have to say "Dead" three times. If you are hanged once, your still dead. It also talks about life on a pirate ship and why it's not for everyone. A little book of a gallery of pirates includes a short bio of Mary Read. There was several woman pirates. It's not just Captain Jack Sparrow who has women bandits on his ships. And two very nice pictures of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow too.

This isn't made up. This is all real info, but the illustrations and the way that it's printed make for a very nice gift to your pirate thirsty son or daughter or well, in my case for me. Definetely recommend you get this book. Great reference too when you write that Science-Fiction novel about the stormy seas in Barbadoes.

Carol Wood is now going to heave ho me hearties and feast her deadlights on some booty! Har! GaHar!
